About Us
Most of our trainings are delivered and facilitated by Carsten Sundby Nielsen who has extensive experience teaching Compassionate Communication in Australia and internationally. For larger groups we have assistant trainers to ensure that there always is support, professional guidance and answers to your questions, even when we split into smaller groups for practise sessions and exercises.
About Carsten Sundby Nielsen
My aim is to contribute to happiness in the world.
One of the most important, if not the most important factor in how we experience life, relates to the quality of our relationships with other people and how we influence each others lives.
Recognising the importance of communication in our interactions with other people, and the impact and consequences of what is said and how we respond in every interaction, I have always been passionate about clear careful communication.
The journey
I have always been very keen on clear communication and understanding each other. I still with a smile remember how, as I child, I felt frustrated when somebody said one thing and I later learned that they actually meant something else!!
It is clear to me that it makes life a lot easier, and I can relax more, when I can simply trust what is said, without having to second guess or interpret.
This is where one of my core concepts comes from:
"Say what you mean and mean what you say".
My background is very broad and I draw on experience from many fields to do the best I can to deliver trainings and advice alike.
After starting out in the fields of IT, electronics and telecommunications engineering I was drawn more and more towards working with people. Next steps became project management and working with project teams along side being section manager and responsible for modernising a national telephone and data network. The management experience taught me many precious lessons.

It was through my journey in personal development and spiritual
awareness that I realised that to me it was a lot more meaningful,
and gave me a much deeper feeling of satisfaction, to help people
and contribute to happiness.
This lead me to an education in complementary psychotherapy and I had my own practise for a few years before leaving Denmark to settle in Australia.
The joy of contributing to the transformations I saw in my clients, the deep sense of gratitude and satisfaction I felt, plus the natural talents I experienced both working one-on-one with clients and in the workshops and seminars I ran, showed me where my passion is. In other words, I had found my calling in working with people, contributing to their happiness.
Throughout my work I have always put great emphasis on communication and based my relationships seminars and workshops on the combination of awareness and good communication.
Compassionate Communication is perfect in this sense, as it brings awareness to what is present and alive for both yourself and others, and shows how you can communicate clearly in a way that supports the development of good relationships.
Learning and teaching Compassionate Communication has enriched my life and brought me a sense of joy and satisfaction from my work that comes through in my passion when I am facilitating workshops.
CC has also given me more tools and further experience, on top of my prior training and practise in complementary psychotherapy, to assist others towards life changing insights and skills that enhance the quality of everyday life.
I would be delighted to meet you and share the journey and my passion for Compassionate Communication with you.
With Love and Smiles,
Carsten
